1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Infinity Omega Lab handles user information in the Android app “Time Defense Calendar”.
Time Defense Calendar is a personal calendar app for Android that helps users check their schedules, see the time remaining until the next event, and use Events, Todos, Memos, notifications, and a Home Widget to protect their own time.
The app handles information needed for calendar and notebook-style features, such as event titles, dates and times, locations, descriptions, categories, Private event flags, Todos, and Memos. This information may include personal or private content entered by the user.
2. Information handled by the app
The app mainly handles the following information:
- Event titles
- Event start times, end times, and all-day event information
- Event locations
- Event descriptions, memos, and notes
- Event categories and color information
- Private event flags
- Todo titles, status, due dates, categories, and Private flags
- Memo titles, bodies, categories, and Private flags
- Stamp records and custom stamp information
- Event information displayed in notifications and the Home Widget
- Event information read, imported, or created/updated/deleted through an explicitly enabled Google Calendar write connection
- Authorization state required for Google Calendar connection
- User data included in Google / Android Cloud Backup when enabled by the user
- Purchase state from Google Play Billing
- 30-day trial start timestamp
- Daily new-event creation count for the Free version
- App settings
- Certain local settings used explicitly inside the app, such as search history
Free-text fields such as event titles, locations, descriptions, Todos, and Memos may contain personal or private information entered by the user.
3. Purpose of use
The app uses handled information for the following purposes:
- To display events in Day, Week, and Month views
- To create, edit, and delete events
- To display and edit Todos, Memos, Stamps, and custom stamp information
- To display event categories and colors
- To display the time remaining until the next event
- To display events and remaining time in notifications and the Home Widget
- To control display of Private events, Private Todos, and Private Memos
- To read and import events from Google Calendar
- To create, update, or delete Google Calendar events when the user explicitly enables write connection and grants the required permissions
- To provide Time Defense user data to Android backup features when the user enables Google / Android Cloud Backup
- To determine Pro entitlement through Google Play Billing
- To determine the 30-day trial state and Free-version daily creation limits
- To store app settings and maintain the user experience
4. Storage location
Events, Todos, Memos, categories, Private flags, Stamps, and related data are generally stored as local data on the device.
Trial start time, Free-version daily creation count, and app settings may be stored in the app’s local preference storage on the device.
At this time, Time Defense Calendar is not intended to send user data such as Events, Todos, or Memos to an external server operated by Time Defense Calendar.
However, communication with external services or storage by external services may occur in the following cases:
- When the user uses Google Calendar connection
- When the user explicitly enables Google / Android Cloud Backup
- When the user uses Google Play Billing to purchase, restore, or verify Pro
- When the user explicitly uses export, backup, or external connection features
5. Google Calendar connection
Google Calendar connection is optional. Users can use the local calendar features of Time Defense Calendar without connecting to Google Calendar.
In read-only / import mode, the app reads event titles, dates and times, locations, descriptions, calendar information, and related event data from Google Calendar within the scope allowed by the user, and imports them into Time Defense Calendar. In this mode, the app does not modify events in Google Calendar.
If the user explicitly selects write connection and grants the required permissions, Time Defense Calendar may create, update, or delete events in Google Calendar to provide the selected feature. Changes made in Google Calendar may also be reflected in Time Defense Calendar.
Private events in Time Defense Calendar are not written to Google Calendar. Google OAuth authorization information and access tokens are handled only to the extent necessary for authentication and communication with Google Calendar, and are not included in Time Defense Calendar backup data. The connection mode and authorization scope are selected only through explicit user action.
6. Google / Android Cloud Backup
Google / Android Cloud Backup is OFF by default. Only when the user reviews the explanation in the Backup / Restore area and explicitly enables it, Time Defense Calendar provides user data to Android backup features.
When enabled, events, recurrence settings, Todos, Memos, Stamps, categories, user settings, Private events, and related data may be stored in Google backup storage. Users who do not want to entrust Time Defense Calendar data to Google should keep this setting OFF.
Google OAuth credentials, tokens, secrets, Google Play Billing purchase information or Pro entitlement authority, trial/quota state, control preferences, cache, temporary files, debug state, and reconstructable provider caches are intended to be excluded from Google / Android Cloud Backup.
When Google / Android Cloud Backup is turned OFF, Time Defense Calendar stops providing future Cloud Backup payloads. However, turning it OFF does not guarantee immediate deletion of backups that have already been stored by Google. Management and deletion of already stored backups are governed by Android or Google Account settings.
Device-to-device transfer features provided by Android or the device manufacturer are separate from Google / Android Cloud Backup and may be available even when Google / Android Cloud Backup is OFF. On a new device or after restore, the Google backup setting is OFF, and future cloud backup requires explicit user enablement again.
7. Google Play Billing and payment information
The app uses Google Play Billing to provide Pro features, check purchase state, and restore purchases.
Purchases and subscriptions for the Pro version are processed on the Google Play purchase screen. Payment methods and credit card information displayed or confirmed by Google Play are information required for Google Play billing. Time Defense Calendar does not collect, store, or manage credit card numbers.
The app may handle purchase state, product ID, whether the user has purchased Pro, whether payment is pending, whether a purchase has been acknowledged, and similar states only to the extent necessary to determine Pro entitlement.
The app is designed not to unnecessarily display purchase tokens, order information, account information, or similar billing-related details in screens, logs, or documents.
8. 30-day trial, Free, and Pro
Users can try the current Pro-equivalent features for 30 days from the first time they open Time Defense Calendar.
No purchase procedure is required to start the trial. When the trial period ends, the app does not automatically switch to Pro and does not automatically charge the user.
To use Pro, the user must explicitly purchase the Pro version from within the app. No fee is charged unless the user purchases Pro.
Saved Events, Todos, and Memos are not deleted when the trial period ends. Users can continue to view, edit, and delete them. However, Free-version limits and Pro-feature restrictions apply.
9. Notifications and Home Widget display
The app displays event information in notification cards and the Home Widget to help users avoid losing sight of their schedules.
Notifications and the Home Widget may display information such as the time remaining until the next event, event start time, the number of events for the day, and event titles.
Depending on device settings and usage, notifications and the Home Widget may be visible in places where other people can see them. Users should review device notification settings, lock-screen settings, and Home screen placement as needed.
Notification and Home Widget behavior may be affected by Android permissions, battery-saving settings, manufacturer-specific restrictions, network state, and other device conditions.
10. Private display
For information marked as Private events, Private Todos, or Private Memos, the app may suppress display of titles, locations, descriptions, bodies, and similar content in app surfaces, notifications, and the Home Widget.
For Private events, notifications and the Home Widget may display a “scheduled event exists” style label and minimum information needed for schedule management, such as start time or remaining time.
This Private display feature reduces visible content inside Time Defense Calendar and related surfaces. It does not guarantee complete protection of the entire device, device lock state, notification settings, backups, screenshots, screen recordings, the operating system, or behavior of other apps.
11. Third-party provision and sharing
At this time, Time Defense Calendar is not intended to send user data such as Events, Todos, or Memos to an external server operated by Time Defense Calendar, nor to sell or share that data with third parties.
However, communication with external services or processing by external services may occur in the following cases:
- When the user uses Google Calendar connection
- When the user explicitly enables Google / Android Cloud Backup
- When the user uses Google Play Billing
- When the user explicitly uses external connection, export, backup, or synchronization features
If third-party SDKs, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, or similar tools are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated.
12. Advertising, analytics, and crash reporting
In the current planned release version, Time Defense Calendar does not display in-app advertising.
In the current planned release version, Time Defense Calendar does not use advertising SDKs, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, or similar analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
Therefore, the app does not collect advertising IDs, usage information, crash information, or similar data through those SDKs.
If these tools are introduced in the future, the app will review the data collected, purpose of use, recipients, opt-out availability, and related matters, and will update this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration.
13. AI-readable Markdown help documents
Time Defense Calendar may publish user guides and FAQs in Markdown format. These documents are intended to make it easier for users to load general help content into an AI tool of their choice and ask questions about general usage or FAQs.
Time Defense Calendar itself does not send the user’s Events, Todos, or Memos to an external AI service.
If the user pastes Events, Todos, Memos, personal names, locations, workplaces, business partners, confidential information, or similar content into an external AI service, that information will be handled under the rules of that external service. Please do not paste personal or confidential information into external AI services.
14. Data deletion
Users may delete Events, Todos, Memos, and similar data inside the app. Deleted data is removed from the app’s display and management targets.
If the app is uninstalled from the device, app data stored on the device may be deleted according to normal Android behavior.
However, turning OFF Google / Android Cloud Backup or uninstalling the app does not guarantee immediate deletion of backups already stored by Google. Device backups, Google Calendar data, Google Play purchase history, and data held by external services are governed by each service and device setting.
At this time, Time Defense Calendar does not provide its own account creation feature. If an account deletion feature becomes necessary in the future, the app will update the deletion method and related explanations when the feature is added.
15. Not designed as a children’s app
The app is not designed as an app primarily directed to children.
It is a calendar app for general users who use schedule management, Todos, Memos, notifications, widgets, Google Calendar connection, and Google Play Billing.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated due to added features, Google Calendar connection changes, Google Play Billing changes, introduction of advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, legal requirements, or Google Play policy requirements.
When important changes are made, the app will consider notifying users through appropriate methods such as the app, store listing, or official website.
